‘Unusual’ forms of Guillain-Barré syndrome found in south Wales as toddler battles illness – ITV News

Eight adults in south Wales have been diagnosed with unusual forms of Guillain-Barré Syndrome - which occurs when the body's immune system attacks the peripheral nervous system. Four children have also been identified with "acute flaccid paralysis".
