A Yorkshire mum has given an honest account of bringing up an autistic child and said she will never be able to be the parent she really hoped she would be.
Being the parent of a child with additional needs comes with its own unique set of challenges and contradictory emotions.
Mum Lindsay Richards from Honley, has shared with HullLive what it's like to look after her autistic daughter Martha, from violent outbursts, frustration and guilt.
